Workhorse ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our macOS application.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data. Workhorse is designed with privacy as a core principle:

• All work time data is stored locally on your device
• If you enable iCloud sync, your data is synced via your personal iCloud account
• We have no access to your iCloud data
• We do not use any analytics or tracking services
• We do not collect crash reports automatically

Data Storage

Your work time records are stored in the following locations:

• Local Storage: Application data is stored in your Mac's Application Support directory
• iCloud (Optional): If enabled, data syncs via NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore to your personal iCloud account

Third-Party Services

Workhorse uses the following Apple services:

• iCloud: For optional data synchronization across your devices
• StoreKit: For processing in-app purchases through the App Store

These services are governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Permissions

Workhorse requires the following system permissions to function:

• Accessibility: To detect screen lock/unlock events for automatic time tracking

This permission is used solely for time tracking functionality. We do not log keystrokes, screen content, or any other user activity.

Data Export

You can export all your data at any time using the CSV export feature (available in Pro). The exported data remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
